Monadnock Announces Duraprint
Monadnock Paper Mills, Inc. announced at Luxe Pack New York the
introduction of its new Duraprint line of turned-edge covering
materials for the packaging and publishing industries. Engineered for
strength, flexibility, printability and conversion the Duraprint line
is formulated to provide flexibility without cracking making it ideal
for applications where repetitive or aggressive folding is a
requirement. Intended uses for the new line include book covers, DVD/CD
collector set cases, keepsake jewelry and cosmetics boxes, software
cases, durable point-of-sale signage or any application where packaging
is used to store or display products long after purchase.
Duraprint is available in two grades, a 6-point caliper cover stock
material and a heavy duty 10-point caliper weight that meets NASTA Type
II textbook specifications.
"Monadnock has participated in this market for many years on a
made-to-order basis," said Dave Lunati, Monadnock's Director of
Marketing. "Given the market demand for durable /flexible cover stocks
with long-term durability characteristics, it just made sense to make
them part of our core offering."
Duraprint materials are super-smooth, white stocks available in sheets or rolls. Both grades print using standard offset printing and convert, emboss, foil stamp and laminate beautifully.
Like all Monadnock printing and packaging papers, Duraprint is
manufactured carbon neutral using 100 percent renewable electricity.
Monadnock has a long record of environmental stewardship. Duraprint is
no exception. It is made under the strict guidelines of an ISO
14001:2004-certified environmental management system.
