Monadnock manufactures polymer-reinforced flatback base stocks for premask, masking and application tapes.  These bases range from 3 mil to 15 mils in thickness and are used as carrier and protective sheets for vinyl sign making as well as protective masking for wood, glass and metal surfaces during shipping, handling and final installation.

These tape bases have a high level of polymer saturation resulting in high elongation, a barrier for high tack adhesives, and superior runnability.  Critical properties include Stength, Consistency, Dimensional Stability and Adhesive Coating Receptivity.
